Ground Leveling
The area where the stump was ground down leaves a depression in the ground that will settle further over time. That needs to be filled with topsoil and packed properly before anything else can be done with the space.
Soil Restoration
Tree roots pull nutrients from the soil for years. After a long-standing tree comes out, the soil around it is often compacted and depleted. Adding quality topsoil and organic material gives the ground a foundation to recover from.
Lawn Repair
Heavy equipment, foot traffic, and falling debris all take a toll on the surrounding grass. Once the ground is leveled and the soil is prepared, the lawn can be reseeded or resodded to match the rest of the yard.
